VICTORIA SHEPARD

A funeral for Victoria V. Shepard of Petaluma, a former Novato resident, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma.

Mrs. Shepard died Monday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 58.

She was born in Roxten, Saskatchewan, and reared in Lang Bay and Stillwater, B.C.

Mrs. Shepard moved to Hamilton Air Force Base 21 years ago with her husband, James H. Shepard, who was serving in the Air Force. They moved to Petaluma 1? years ago.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Terry? Shepard of Petaluma, two brothers, Alexander Martinuk of Powell River, B.C. and William Martinuk of Nanainoimo, B.C.; and two sisters, Isabella Bafia of Kamloops, B.C. and Katherine Johnston of California.

Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma.

NOTE: a portion of the right side of the obituary was damaged. I think the daughter’s name is Terry but only the Ter is legible. I think they moved to Petaluma 17 years ago, but the 7 could be some other number.
