S. P. Medical Expert Victim of Pneumonia

Dr. Pedro Alfonso Ramos of the Southern Pacific medical staff, who was sent by the company to take charge of the influenza epidemic at Yuma, Arizona, died Saturday night from pneumonia. His body arrived in San Francisco Monday for burial. Dr. Ramos was born and educated in Salvador and is known in his native country as an orator and a novelist, having published several books in Spanish. He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Ramos; a sister, Miss Natalie Ramos, the musician, and a brother, Ricardo Ramos, who lives in San Rafael.
