MARY IRENE HORRALL
A funeral for Mary Irene Horrall will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Mrs. Horrall of San Rafael died Saturday at Hillhaven Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael. She was 94.
She was born in Indiana and moved to California as a young woman. She lived in Marin for 27 years, making her home in San Anselmo before moving to San Rafael.
She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and past chairman of the Golden Fellowship of the First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo.
She also was a pianist.
Her late husband, Albion H. Horrall, was the superintendent of the San Mateo Schools at the time of his death in 1946.
Mrs. Horrall is survived by two daughters, Jane Coldiron of San Rafael and Dorothy Stone of Ventura; a son, John Horrall of La Canada; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Cemetery in San Mateo.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
