JOHN PARKER HARVEY
John Parker Harvey of Petaluma died Wednesday at the Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospital in Petaluma. He was 88.
Mr. Harvey, a native of Ohio, moved to Petaluma three months ago after living in San Rafael for 34 years. He worked as a pharmacist in Sausalito and Kentfield for 55 years and retired 12 years ago.
Mr. Harvey attended the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He was a member of Phi Delta Chi, the Marin Pharmaceutical Association, the Wilkins Post of the American Legion in San Rafael and Veterans of World War I.
Survivors are his wife, Helen Harvey of Petaluma; a son, Gordon Harvey of South Carolina; a daughter, Pamela Matthews of Petaluma; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no service.
