CRESCENCIA WHITAKER
A memorial service for Crescencia “Babe” Whitaker, a longtime resident of Novato, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Novato.
Mrs. Whitaker died Tuesday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a short illness. She was 70.
She was a native of the Philippines and had lived in Novato 18 years.
Mrs. Whitaker was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Novato.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Whitaker of Novato; and two sisters, Margaret Renner of San Francisco and Katherine Jarrmilla of Petaluma.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato.
Her ashes will be scattered at sea.
The family prefers that contributions be made to the Bible education work of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5 Pivato Court, Novato.
