RUTH “DOT” TOWNSEND
Ruth Marie “Dot” Lambour Townsend of Novato, a longtime Marin resident and retired Realtor, died Monday at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda. She was 81.
Mrs. Townsend was born in Nicktown, Pa.
She last worked for Mabelle Culpepper Realty in Larkspur.
She was a member of the Humane Society of Marin County.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cox of San Rafael; two sisters, Louise Tobin and Mildred Lintz, both of Cresson, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
A private service was held Monday.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the Humane Society of Marin County.
