Only Brother of W. J. Dickson Dies Wednesday at Sebastopol

Word has just been received here of the death Wednesday night of David S. Dickson at his home in Sebastopol, thus removing another member of the Dickson family, which history has been a part of that of Marin county for the last half century.

Mr. Dickson was 90 years of age, and until a few weeks ago was still hale and hearty. Many years ago he was a resident of Marin county and with his only remaining brother, W. J. Dickson, conducted a ranch in San Geronimo valley. From this place he removed with his wife to a home in Sonoma county near Petaluma. He was residing with his daughter at the time of his death.

Four deaths have taken place in the Dickson family within the past year, leaving but one survivor, William J. Dickson of San Rafael. Those who have passed away were: John Calvin Dickson, October 6, 1914, Mrs. David Dickson, May 21, Mrs. W. R. Coburn, August 25, and David S. Dickson, October 20, 1915. The members of the family have been remarkable for their longevity, every one having attained an age that exceeded three quarters of a century.

No word had been received as yet regarding the funeral arrangements.
