Miss Margaret Lunny Taken By Death
Margaret J. Lunny, whose family has been identified with the annals of San Rafael for many years succumbed last Saturday to an illness which had confined her to her home for months. Sometime ago she submitted to an operation in the hope that it might be beneficial. The death of her brother, Thomas Lunny, a short time ago affected her considerably and the members of the family had for several weeks been reconciled, with sorrow, to the fact that she would never recover. For years Miss Lunny had been employed in the law office of Attorney Joseph Hawkins.
The funeral was held Monday under the direction of Dr. F. E. Sawyer at the home of deceased’s mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Lunny. Miss Lunny was a member of Lagan Institute No. 52, Y.L.I. She was the sister of Mrs. M. A. Muhlenfeld, Mrs. C. F. Lohse, Edward and Julia Lunny and the late Thomas Lunny.
