URBAN L. MORF
Urban L. Morf, 15-year resident of Marin and president of a medical billing firm, died yesterday in a local hospital following a brief illness.
Morf, 65, was a native of San Francisco who spent most of his life in that city. He attended St. Ignatius College, now the University of San Francisco.
At his death he resided at 380 Coleman Drive in San Rafael.
Morf was president of the Morf Firm, a medical billing service throughout California, primarily serving anesthesiologists.
He was president of Stanford Parlor No. 76 of the Native Sons of the Golden West and was a member of St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda Morf of San Rafael; three sons, George Morf of Santa Venetia, Charles Morf of Menlo Park and Martin Morf of San Rafael; three daughters, Marilyn McNeil of Corte Madera, Ursula Nelson of Menlo Park and Fredricka Varetakis of San Rafael; a sister, Dolores Matteson of Kentfield, and eleven grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late John Morf of Hillsborough.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael’s followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keaton‘s Mortuary.
