Fatally Injured By Switch Engine
James J. McGinnis, steam shovel employee of the Northwestern Pacific, was fatally injured at Tiburon last Monday when he was run over by a switch engine. Both legs were badly crushed. He was removed immediately to a San Francisco hospital, where he died the same day.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 9 o’clock in the F. E. Sawyer Parlors, with interment in Mount Olivet cemetery. A requiem high mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s church.
The deceased is survived by a brother, Nathaniel C. McGinnis, of Memphis, Tenn., and a sister, Alice McGinnis, of Chicago. He was 60 years of age and a member of Sterling Council No. 662, Knights of Columbus, Sterling, Ill.
