AMERICO GALLI
Americo Galli, 83, of San Anselmo, died Sunday in a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native of San Francisco and had lived in Marin for many years. Galli was a retired teamster and had worked for more than 50 years for an olive oil firm in San Francisco.
He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters of Marin and of Teamsters Local No. 85 in San Francisco.
He is survived by two sons, Melvin Galli of Novato and Robert Galli of Burney, Shasta County. He was the husband of the late Rose Galli.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Burial will be in the Italian Cemetery, Colma. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
