ILEEN FAHY

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ileen T. Fahy of Fairfax will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita’s Church, Fairfax.

Mrs. Fahy died Friday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 78.

A native of San Francisco, she moved to Marin County in 1930 and lived first in San Anselmo and then Fairfax. Her husband, Richard, died in 1959. He was a house painter. She was a member of St. Rita's parish.

She is survived by three sons, Richard of Yuba City, Phillip of Los Angeles and John of San Anselmo, and 16 grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Burial will be in Golden Gate Cemetery, San Bruno.
