Body Of Missing Man Found By Two Boys
The body of William Gordon, who disappeared from his home here December 7, was found last Thursday evening by two boys, Henry Eklund and a companion, on the hills west of Picnic Valley.
The remains were found near a tree, and identification was made by Deputy Coroner William Sorenson and Mrs. Gordon by means of an initialed ring worn by the deceased. Near the body was an open razor which Mrs. Gordon said was owned by her missing husband. It is presumed that death was from a wound inflicted by the deceased with a razor.
The remains were removed at once to the morgue and the following day services were held.
Many friends have expressed their sympathy for the sorrowing widow, but spoke also of the finding of the body as tending to relieve the terrible uncertainty under which she has suffered since the disappearance of her husband.
