ALEXANDER OMELIANIKO
Alexander M. Omelianiko of San Rafael, a Marin resident for more than 10 years, died Sunday at a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 82.
Omelianiko was a native of Russia and moved to t his county many years ago. He moved to California in 1950.
He was employed as a maintenance man for 20 years with the Building Services Employees Union.
He retired several years ago.
He is survived by his close friends, Mr. and Mrs. Serge Shalagan of San Rafael.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday noon at St. Nicholas’ Russian Orthodox Church, 102 Ross Avenue, San Anselmo. Panahida services will be held at 6 this evening at the Chapel of the Hills Mortuary in San Anselmo. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
