CLAUDE ARROYO
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said for Claude Arroyo on Tuesday at 9 a.m. in Saint Anthony’s Church in Novato and the Rosary will be recited for him tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
A resident of Novato, Arroyo died Saturday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 52.
He was a native Californian.
Arroyo was a carpenter for Von Der Werth, Inc. of San Rafael. He was a member of the Carpenters Union local 35 and the Marin Rod and Gun Club.
Arroyo was also active as a manager and coach in the Novato Babe Ruth and Little leagues.
Survivors include his wife, Lita Arroyo of Novato; a son, Stephen Claude Arroyo of Novato; a daughter, Valerie Ann Arroyo of Petaluma; and a sister, Tita Williams of San Rafael.
Arroyo will be buried at Bahia Valley Memorial Park.
Contributions may be sent to the Heart Fund or to the donor’s favorite charity.
