ROBERT J. MELVILLE
A private service for Robert J. Melville of San Anselmo was held today.
Melville died Sunday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was 55.
A native of Oroville, Melville lived in Marin County for more that 30 years.
He had worked as a tow truck driver for the Golden Gate Bridge District since 1966. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.
Melville is survived by his wife Elizabeth; four daughters, Yvonne, Elaine and Carolyn, all of Trinity county, and Susan of Michigan; one son, Robert Melville of Santa Rosa; a sister, Dorothy Billeci of Hillsborough; and seven grandchildren.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that interment was in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery; the service was held at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
