HENRY J. ROGERS
A memorial service for Henry J. Rogers, a San Francisco attorney who died in San Rafael, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace Episcopal Cathedral in San Francisco.
Rogers died Sunday in a local convalescent home following a lengthy illness. He was 96.
He had been a resident of extended-care facilities in San Rafael since 1975.
A native of New York, Rogers spent most of his life in San Francisco, though Ross was his home from 1917 to 1921.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen J. Rogers of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Sherman V. Rogers of Bainbridge Island, Wash.
The family prefers donations to the Grace Episcopal Cathedral School for Boys.
