Retired Cook Dies In Leap From Span

A retired San Francisco cook Saturday became the 183rd known suicide from the Golden Gate Bridge.

John Losky, 68, left a note in his coat on the bridge, saying he had been ill for five months and “I cannot take it any longer.”
