SHEILA LERNER
A memorial service for Sheila Lerner of San Anselmo will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the home of friends Rick and Bertha Noll, 55 Fire Road, Woodacre.
Mrs. Lerner died Monday in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was 44.
She had been a social worker for Marin County for several years and also was know for her love of animals, friends said. She was a member of the American Civil Liberties Union and National Association of Social Workers.
She was a native of New York.
She is survived by a brother, Michael Vogelstein, and a sister, Marian Donnell, both of New York City.
The family prefers no memorial donations nor flowers.

A Death Notice in the March 4th paper adds that she died in Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda. Funeral arrangements by Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley.
