John McFarland
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. today at the Community Congregational Church in Tiburon for John McFarland, a longtime Marin resident.
Mr. McFarland died in Napa Saturday, Oct. 17, 1987, of a heart attack. He was 55.
He was born in Los Angeles and had lived in Tiburon, San Rafael and Mill Valley for the past 20 years. He was a salesman.
Mr. McFarland is survived by his sister, Charlotte Brady of Long Beach; his son, Eric McFarland of Boston; and his daughter, Janet McFarland of Sacramento.
A second memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 2, also at the Community Congregational Church in Tiburon.
