BILLIE KELLER SIMPSON

Billie Keller Simpson of Novato, a Marin resident for almost 30 years, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 58.

Simpson was a native of Texas. He served in the Air corps during World War II.

He moved to Marin about 1950 and had a painting contracting business. He operated that business until about 1965.

He lived in San Anselmo before moving to Novato.

He was associated with Blairhaven Kennels in Novato. He also was active in showing dachshunds. He was a member of the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club and Golden Gate Dachshund Club.

Surviving are four daughters, Beverly Diane Dawson, Benita Kay and Belinda Sue Simpson, and Beryl June, all of Southern California, and a brother, Jack Simpson of Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of the Bahia Memorial Park in Novato.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation.
