Harriet W. Hobdy Rites Held
Private funeral services were held yesterday for Harriet W. Hobdy, 89, of Kentfield, the widow of the late Dr. William C. Hobdy.
Mrs. Hobdy , who lived at 100 Oak Street with her daughter, Mrs.Elizabeth Hobdy (sic), died Thursday in a local hospital of heart trouble.
A native of Lexington, Ky., Mrs. Hobdy lived in Marin County for 21 years. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo.
She is survived by her daughter and a son, Warner Hobdy of Hawaii; a sister, Mrs. Irwin J. Shepherd of Hawaii, and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family services were held at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the mother of Mrs. Elizabeth Hobart; burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. Her son, Warner, was living in Lanai City and her sister resided in Honolulu.
