Bettencourt Rites Held Privately

Private funeral services were held today for Manuel H. Bettencourt, 67, of 522 Johnson street, Sausalito, who died Wednesday at a local hospital.

Bettencourt was a native of Sausalito. He owned the Bettencourt plumbing firm for 38 years.

He was a member of the San Rafael Elks Lodge, the San Rafael Aerie of Eagles, Sea Point Parlor of the Native Sons of The Golden West and the Greenbrae Rod and Gun Club.

Bettencourt is survived by his wife Alzarina and his daughter Mrs. Maybelle Dore of Sausalito.

Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

BETTENCOURT-In Sausalito, March 12, 1958, Manuel H. Bettencourt, adored husband of Alzarina Bettencourt, loving father of Mrs. Maybelle Dore, a native of California, age 67, a member of San Rafael Lodge No. 1106 BPOE, San Rafael Aerie No. 256 POE, Sea Point Parlor, Native Sons of the Golden West, and Greenbrae Rod and Gun Club.

Private funeral services were held Friday at the Frank J. Keaton Mortuary, Sausalito. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.
