TRACY W. HARRON Rites Held

Private funeral for Tracy Wilmerding Harron, retired manufacturer of San Rafael, was to be held today at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

Harron, 74, died Wednesday at a local hospital after an illness.

He was born in San Francisco and graduated in 1915 from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of Chi Phi fraternity. On graduation he joined the firm founded by his father, Harron-Rickard and McCone Co. of Northern California, a machine tool manufacturing company. He was president of the company for many years until his retirement over 10 years ago.

He served in the armed forces in World War I and, an ardent yachtsman, was a member of the Coast Guard auxiliary on San Francisco Bay during World War II.

He was a past commodore of both the St. Francis and Marin yacht clubs and a member of King Solomon’s Seaport Lodge 260, Free and Accepted Masons.

He moved to Marin 18 years ago and lived at 55 Marine Drive, San Rafael.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine W. Harron
