ROSA BETTENCOURT
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosa Bettencourt, longtime resident of San Rafael, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mission San Rafael Arcangel.
Mrs. Bettencourt died Monday in a Petaluma convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 90.
Mrs. Bettencourt was born in the Azores and moved to San Rafael when she was about 17. She was the widow of the late Bello Bettencourt.
She is survived by a son, John Bettencourt of Reno, and four grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
Private burial in Tulocay Cemetery, Napa, will follow the services.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the mother of the late Angelina Silva.
