JAMES LOCKHART
Funeral has been held for James Watson Lockhart, West Marin dairyman and real estate salesman.
Lockhart, 64, a lifelong resident of Point Reyes Station, died in a local hospital June 12 after a long illness.
He spent most of his life operating the family Pine Crest Dairy, retiring in 1961. In 1969 Lockhart became a salesman for the Driftwood real estate firm in Inverness, retiring in 1975 because of failing health.
He is survived by a son, Gerald W. Lockhart of Nevada, a daughter, Shirley Jensen of Oregon, and five grandchildren.
Burial was in the Tomales-Presbyterian Cemetery, Tomales. The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

LOCKHART – In San Rafael, June 12, 1976, James Watson Lockhart, former husband of Ruth E. Lockhart, mother of Gerald; beloved father of Gerald W. Lockhart of Nevada, Shirley Jenson of Oregon; father-in-law of Melissa Lockhart; grandfather of five grandchildren. A native of Point Reyes Station; aged 84 years.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, June 15, 1976 at 10 a.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. Interment Tomales Presbyterian Cemetery, Tomales. Memorial contributions preferred to the American Cancer Society.
