RALPH GILLETT
Private funeral for Ralph E. Gillett, 67, of Novato, was held today in Petaluma.
Gillett died Sunday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Brookings, S.D. and lived from 1940 to 1952 in Edmunds, Wash., where he manufactured medicinal products.
Gillett moved to Novato in 1952 and had operated a real estate business. He lived at 2 Boulevard Court.
Gillett was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 165 of Edmunds, Scottish Rite Bodies of Seattle and Nile Temple of Seattle. He served in the Air Force during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Gillett; two daughters, Virginia Mace of San Rafael and Irma Loring of Stockton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Inurnment was at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma.
