ELAINE A. ESLER
A funeral was held Monday for Elaine A. Esler, 42, of Mill Valley.
She died Saturday at a San Francisco hospital after a long illness.
A native of Wauwatosa, Wis., she had lived in Mill Valley for 14 years.
She was a legal secretary with the law firm of Smith and Granberg in San Francisco for 14 years. Before that, she had been the personal secretary for a vice president of Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee, Wis., for eight years.
She is survived by her parents, Elmer and Ethel Esler of Mosinee, Wis.; two sisters, Connie Scheidt of Greenfield, Wis., and Patricia Griffin of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Leland Esler of Milwaukee, Wis., and Michael Esler and David Esler, both of Mosinee, Wis.
Private burial will be at Mosinee, Wis. The family prefers memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
