JOAN WALL WAMSLEY
The funeral for Joan Wall Wamsley of Kentfield will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Kentfield.
Mrs. Wamsley died Monday, Nov. 14, 1988, at home after an illness. She was 62.
She was born and raised in San Francisco, where she attended St. Rose Academy.
Mrs. Wamsley moved to Larkspur in 1950, and later to Kentfield, where she had lived ever since.
She was an avid bridge player and gardener.
Her father, the late Carlton H. Wall, was president of the Olympic Club in San Francisco and helped get financing to build Union Square Garage in San Francisco.
Survivors are her husband, Donald Wamsley; two daughters, Susan Ephraim of Glencoe, Ill., and Cathy Steidle of Santa Maria; a son, Stephen Wamsley of Kentfield; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin or the American Cancer Society.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Elizabeth Ephriam and Christopher Steidle; she was also survived by a niece, Diane Rogers of Oklahoma. Her parents were Carlton H. Wall and Mildred Noonan Wall.
