SARAH V. BRUBAKER
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sarah V. Brubaker, 85, of San Rafael, will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mission San Rafael.
Mrs. Brubaker died Monday of injuries suffered in an auto-pedestrian accident.
She was born and reared in Pennsylvania, moving to California in 1915. She lived in various cities until moving to Martinelli House in San Rafael in 1974.
Mrs. Brubaker had worked as a housekeeper for various families and recently baby-sat a great deal.
She also participated in a number of activities in St. Raphael’s Parish, where she was a parishioner. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies’ Aide, Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of America and the Portuguese lodge SPRSI.
Her husband, Riley Brubaker, died previously.
Surviving are a son, Charles Brubaker of Cotati, and a sister, Margaret Pointer of Pennsylvania.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be in Southern California.

A Death Notice in the same papers adds that she was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Los Angeles.
