W. V. PINNEY
As he wished, no funeral was held for W. V. Pinney of San Rafael, a longtime Marin resident.
He died Saturday following a long illness.
He was born in Iowa, but lived much of his life in California. Before retirement some years ago, he was a traffic manager for Zellerbach Co. and other major San Francisco firms.
He is survived by his wife, LaReta Pinney; a son, Robert Pinney of Culver City; a sister, Charlotte E. Nye of Roseburg, Ore.; and a granddaughter.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.

A Death Notice in the same paper gives the name of his granddaughter; she was Marsha McKibben.
