ROWENA FINK
Rowena Fink of Florida, mother of Novato resident John T. Fink, died Thursday in a local hospital while on a visit from her home in St. Petersburg.
She was 87.
A native of New York, she lived there 65 years before moving to Florida 21 years ago.
She was a retired school teacher.
She was a member of Kappa Delta Gamma, a professional teachers’ association, and traveled extensively with that group.
Besides Fink survivors include another son, Howard Kingsbury of Pennsylvania; a sister, Katheryn Burton of New York; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was the wife of the late Rexford Fink who died in 1963.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
