HILDA JOSEPH

At her request, there will be no funeral services for Hilda Joseph, 71, of Mill Valley.

She died Sunday at a local hospital.

A native of Germany, she had lived in Mill Valley for more that 25 years.

She had been a civil servant in Germany before fleeing from Hitler’s regime in the 1940s with her husband. Most of her relatives were killed by the Nazis.

She had done clerical work in the United States before she retired.

Mrs. Joseph has no survivors from her immediate family.
