Stockfleth Rites To Be Held In S.F.
A Requiem Mass will be offered for George A. Stockfleth tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco.
The 63-year-old attorney died yesterday of a heart ailment at a local hospital.
Born in San Francisco, Stockfleth lived in that city until three years ago, when he and his wife, Gladys, moved to 375 Vista Grande in Greenbrae.
He was a graduate of University of San Francisco and of its law school. A member of the San Francisco law firm of Sullivan, Roche, Johnson and Farraher, Stockfleth belonged to the California and San Francisco Bar Associations.
A World War I veteran, he also belonged to the 91st Division Assn. He was a member of Stanford Parlor, Native Sons of the Golden West, and the Olympic Club.
Stockfleth is survived by his wife; a son, George M. Stockfleth and a grandson, Craig George Stockfleth of San Francisco. He was the brother of Walter Stockfleth of San Francisco and Mrs. William Lansfield of Miami.
Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno. The rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight at the chapel of Carew and English, San Francisco. The family has asked that tributes be donations to the Heart Fund.
