Tom Romano
Born in New York in 1909, died after a brief illness on December 22, 2001. He lived in San Francisco for many years and moved to Marin County in 1970. He was a retired warehouseman at Gigi & Associates for over 20 years. Tom was an Army Veteran in WWII, serving as a Master Sergeant. In the Aleutian Islands. He loved the outdoors and being with his family. Tom never married but served as a father to his loving nieces and nephews. Tom is survived by his brothers Pat & Dan Romano, his sisters Mary & Rose. His loving nephews Joseph Shanks and Bill Romano, nieces Carma, Monaca, and Mindy. Uncle Tom loved fishing and nature. He will be greatly missed by his God-son Joseph Shanks and his dog Molly. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday December 27, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Novato. Memorial gifts may be made to the Marin Wildcare.
