Marie Summers Dies Suddenly At Mill Valley Home
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in San Francisco for Mrs. E. Marie Summers, 77, a recent resident of Marin.
A native of Chicago, Mrs. Summers moved to Marin about four months ago after spending several years in Merced. She made her home at 227 Throckmorton avenue, Mill Valley, and died suddenly of natural causes on Monday night.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Golden Gate Chapels, 1550 California street, San Francisco. Inurnment will be held at the Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, San Francisco.
Mrs. Summers was the mother of Harold A. Summers, advance planning engineer with the California Division of Highways. Summers and his wife, Mary, Marin County planning director, live at 93 Broadmoor avenue, San Anselmo.
Also surviving are a sister, Harriett Heisler of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren, Richard Hayes of Florida, Mrs. Ann Knutson of San Francisco, Miss Jane Summers of Orinda, and Navy Lt. Bruce Summers.
