Norman J. Mancebo

Norman J. Mancebo of San Anselmo, a lifelong Marin County resident, died Sunday night after collapsing at the Tamalpais Theatre in San Anselmo. He was to .

He was born and reared in Sausalito, where he lived until moving to san Anselmo about 21 years ago.

Mr. Mancebo served in the Army during World War II.

He was a boat painter in Sausalito before retiring.

He is survived by his father, Manuel Mancebo of San Anselmo; four sister, Loretta Cordova of San Anselmo, Marion Switzer of San Rafael, Diana Rice of Morro Bay and Margaret Adams of New Plymouth, Idaho, and two brothers, Lester Mancebo of San Anselmo and Milton Mancebo of San Rafael.

His family asked that memorial gifts be sent to Lester Mancebo, 20 Canyon Road, San Anselmo, for distribution to various Catholic charities.

The body will be cremated.
