ANNE FETTERLY

A private funeral has been held for Anne Fetterly of Novato, widow of an Independent Journal electronics technician.

Mrs. Fetterly, 65, died Sunday at a local hospital after a long illness.

Born and reared in Cleveland, Ohio, she spent some years in Florida before moving to Marin in 1961. Most of her years in Marin were spent in Novato.

She was a practical nurse and had worked in convalescent homes in Marin.

Her husband, Ralph Fetterly, died in 1976 after working 14 years for the Independent Journal.

Surviving are two sons, Scott Fetterly of San Francisco and Douglas Fetterly of San Anselmo, who also is an Independent Journal electronics technician; her daughter, Gretchen Fetterly of Maine; and two grandchildren.
