RICHARD W. VINCENT
The memorial service for Richard Warren Vincent of Tiburon will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Corinthian Yacht club in Tiburon. Mr. Vincent died Tuesday, July 12, 1988 at Marin General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 64.
He was a native of Marin. He was graduated from Tamalpais High School. He served in the Marines.
He made his career in the mortgage banking industry.
He was a member for many years of the Corinthian Yacht Club as was his father, Ben, before him.
He was the club’s commodore in 1983 and 1984 and was a well-known figure in Bay Area yachting circles. His life was interwoven with the sea.
His ashes will be scattered at sea after the memorial service.
Among his survivors is his longtime companion, Patty Matthews of Belvedere; two daughters, Jana Ehinger of San Rafael and Leesa Galassi of Novato; and two grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
