Accidental Shooting Near Bolinas
Joseph Garcea Shot in Abdomen And Dies in Few Hours
On Tuesday evening Coroner Sawyer received word from Bolinas that Joseph Garcea had died from the effect of a gunshot wound received during the afternoon. He was out hunting and in some way his gun went off shooting him in the abdomen. Dr. Cavanaugh was called, but he could do nothing to save the man’s life. Death resulted at about 5 o’clock.
The coroner went over to Bolinas Wednesday morning and brought the remains to San Rafael.
Mr. Garcea was 33 years of age and leaves a widow to mourn his sudden death. Mrs. Garcea was not at home at the time of the death.
