MRS. JEWETT PASSES AWAY

Another old and respected resident of Sausalito passes away. Mrs. Mary Jewett, the beloved wife of J.M. Jewett, passed away at her home on Caledonia street, Tuesday, after making a brave and heroic struggle against that dreaded disease, Bright's disease. The funeral took place Friday. A solemn high mass was said for the repose of her soul. The remains were laid away in Fernwood cemetery.

Mrs. Jewett was born in Scotland seventy-one years ago and came to Sausalito about thirty years ago. She leaves a husband, J.M. Jewett and three sons, Charles, Albert and Joseph Jewett to mourn her departure.
