Brother of Supervisor Dies Of Pneumonia
Pietro Martinelli, brother of Supervisor A. Martinelli, of Inverness, died at the Ross General Hospital Tuesday evening. Sunday, Martinelli, who is employed at road construction work, became seriously ill with an attack of pneumonia, and he was brought here in the hope of saving his life.
He was a bachelor and 44 years of age. The funeral was held today from the Catholic church at Point Reyes Station, where Rev. Fat her Gregory held a requiem mass for the repose of his soul.
Interment was held at Olema. The pall bearers were: A. J. Cavalli, Frank Guibbini, George Ludy, Albert Silverfoot, Joe Albini and Gasper Smith.
The deceased, besides Supervisor Martinelli, leaves two other brothers, Pompeo Martinelli of Lagunitas, and Olompio Martinelli of Point Reyes Station. Two other brothers have died in Switzerland, deceased’s native land, and a sister is believed to reside there.
