Charles N. Wormald
The funeral service for Charles N. Wormald, 87, of San Rafael, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
Wormald, a retired glass beveler, died Saturday at a local hospital after a sudden illness.
He retired from the glass division of W. P. Fuller and Co. in 1957 and moved to Marin in 1960.
Wormald was a native of Washington who had been a resident of California since 1921, living in Los Angeles before moving to Marin.
Wormald was a member of Marin Barracks No. 550, Veterans of World War I and Wilkins Post No. 37, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, A. Lillian Wormald of San Rafael; a son, Edward S. Wormald of San Rafael three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. The family prefers that memorial gifts be made to a favorite charity.
