JANE SCHROEDER

A memorial mass for Jane Schroeder of Petaluma will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent De Paul Church in Petaluma. Mrs. Schroeder died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 14, 1988, at a Petaluma hospital. She was 68.

Mrs. Schroeder was born in Porterville, Tulare County, and raised in Mill Valley. She graduated from Tamalpais High School and the College of Marin. She resided in Mill Valley until moving to Petaluma in 1953.

Mrs. Schroeder was associated with her husband, Everett J. Schroeder of Petaluma, in their family business, Electrical Equipment Co. in Petaluma, from 1952 until retiring in 1986.

Mrs. Schroeder was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church, Petaluma Golf and Country Club, Petaluma Women’s club and the Petaluma Valley Hospital Auxiliary.

She also is survived by a daughter, Nancy Dempsey of Sebastopol; a son, Jim Schroeder of Petaluma; and five grandchildren.

Burial will be private. Her family asked that memorial contributions go to Petaluma Valley Hospital Auxiliary, 400 N. McDowell Blvd., Petaluma, 94952, or to a favorite charity. Arrangements are being handled by the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma.
