ANGELINA K. ARBINI
Mrs. ANGELINA K. ARBINI, 49, head surgery nurse at San Rafael General Hospital for the past 30 years, died at her home at 145 West End Avenue, San Rafael, last night after three months illness.
She took her nurse’s training at Mary’s Help Hospital in San Francisco, graduating in 1923, and joined the staff at Emergency Hospital, on the site of Macy’s store, San Rafael, then joined the staff of Cottage Hospital, which is now San Rafael General Hospital.
Her daughter, Jeanne Arbini, who recently completed nurse training at Mary’s Help Hospital, is practicing there.
Mrs. Arbini was born in Meaderville, MT, and came to San Rafael with her parents when she was six years old, and attended San Rafael schools.
Her husband, Leo F. Arbini, is an employee at the San Rafael Post Office.
She was a member of Marin County Nurses Association, and the California State Nurses’ Association.
In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Giovanna Balzarini, and the late Angelo Balzarini; sisters, Mrs. Louise Berini, Mrs. Katherine Keegan, all of San Rafael, Mrs. Susie Lowe, Sausalito, and a brother, Eugene Balzarini, San Rafael.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A high mass of requiem will be said at St. Raphael’s Church at 9:30 a.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
