Man Succumbs To Injuries To Head

John Wyckoff, employed at the Sleepy Hollow ranch, died Tuesday morning at the Ross General Hospital from injuries received some weeks ago when a block and tackle apparatus fell from the rafters in the barn, striking him on the head.

Wyckoff, 32 years of age, was working on a scaffold at the time. He slipped and fell to the barn floor, about 12 feet, seizing a rope connected with the block and tackle. The apparatus was pulled from the peak of the roof, hitting him on the head. Wyckoff improved steadily. His brother, who had come out from Minneapolis to visit him, returned a few days ago, believing that recovery was certain. Serious complications set in Sunday and the injured man passed away the next day.

The funeral services were under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer company.
