SYDNEY ROY HOLDER
Private family services were held for Sydney Roy Holder of Novato, a retired painter.
Mr. Holder, 77, died Monday, July 11, 1988, at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda.
Mr. Holder was born and reared in England. He moved to the United States in 1950 and lived in San Francisco before moving to Novato 13 years ago.
He was a member of the Novato Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Doris W. Holder of Novato; his son, Richard J. Holder of San Carlos; his daughter, Sheila Walsh of Novato; two sisters, Nellie Plum and Joan Ruggles, both of England; and two grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Alameda Chapter of the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
