John W. Welborn

Funeral service for the late John W. Welborn who died at his home at The Cedars Saturday, will be held at the Guy W. Jenness & Co. chapel at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow. Interment will be made in the National cemetery at the Presidio.

Welborn was born January 27, 1888, in Kansas. He served in France during the World War with the American forces and upon his return, was for seven years in charge of parks in the state of Wyoming. About three years ago, he and his wife came to San Anselmo to become employees of The Cedars, where he was in charge of the grounds. He leaves a mother, a brother, and a sister in Kansas; a sister in Los Angeles, and his widow in San Anselmo.

Dr. Clifford M. Drury of the seminary will conduct the service at the parlors while the American legion will conduct memorial rites at the grave.
