Death Calls For Mrs. C. F. Stocking
It was a distinct shock to the hosts of friends and admirers who had known her for many years to learn of the death last Friday of Mrs. Nettie May Stocking at her home here after an illness of some weeks.
Mrs. Stocking had been a patient sufferer in her illness, bearing with fortitude the affliction which caused her death.
In her life here, much of it passed with her husband in their business place on Fourth street, Stocking confectionary store, she had made a great host of friends who sincerely mourn her passing. She leavers a sorrowing husband, Charles F. Stocking, a son, Clayton F. Stocking, and a daughter, Miss Abbie M. Stocking.
The remains were taken to the Sawyer Company’s parlors and funeral arrangements were in charge of that firm. The funeral was held privately.
