Roy E. Riffle
Death came Sunday to Roy E. Riffle, 40, head of the San Rafael Military Academy English department for the past seven years.
Mr. Riffle, stricken Friday with a recurring heart ailment, from which he has been a recent sufferer, was rushed to a local hospital, but despite heroic efforts of attending physicians, death came at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon.
Member of the prominent Riffle family of Washington state, Mr. Riffle was one of the most popular instructors at the school.
The body was shipped by Keaton’s Mortuary to Walla Walla, Wm., for final rites.
